Our Story

TCLC’s founder, Natasha Wallace, is a former People and Development Director with decades of experience in organisational and leadership development.

Natasha realised that most leadership development programmes don’t have the desired impact and fail to deliver lasting change. Leaders find it difficult to apply the learning they do in a workshop setting to the day job.

Natasha could see that the most significant and important change stems from awareness (of self and others), time for reflection, and being able to safely try out new 'ways of being' while at work. The problem was that leaders rarely had the time or the tools to do that. It also stems from leaders being guided to gain a better understanding of what is getting in the way of them feeling their best.

After experiencing burnout, Natasha also saw that many leaders were exhausted, fatigued by the daily grind (and the problems they faced both inside and outside of work). They needed to ‘put on their own oxygen masks’, but rarely had the time or awareness of how to do that, which impacted their performance and energy levels and led them closer to burnout.

This is why Natasha set about researching what led to human flourishing, what set high performing teams apart from the rest, and what really led to long lasting behavioural change. This is when our Conscious Leadership model was born, based on the needs of modern day leaders and employees and the mindset and behaviour needed to maximise performance and wellbeing.

Conscious Leadership takes all of the latest evidence based thinking into what brings out the best in people in the workplace, alongside the science behind effective behaviour and mindset change, to create a leadership development approach that is fit for the modern world of work.
